Waikato Regional Council’s Environmental Initiatives Fund is now open for applications
The 2019 funding round opened on 13 May. The EIF is for community-based projects which directly benefit the environment or provide environmental education. The maximum grant is $40,000.

Applications are to be made online through the website link to SmartyGrants. Applicants are encouraged to preview the application form and discuss their projects with council staff before submitting an application.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 14 June 2019. Applicants will be notified of the outcome in mid-August 2019.
